I scraped all the thick paint off and from the scrapings came these beautiful earthy colors.  I have created two small new pieces newly listed on my website.  There are some awesome close up gallery photos of the paint showing the layering.  This is the essence of these paintings, to pile them in layers.  There is a week delay in shipping as there are still a few areas wet and these oils form an outside layer of skin that dries before the piled paint below it. It was right at home. I could tie into the Verses below with the lead horse is the strong one leading the others!!! It was in a show at Mirada Fine Art in Denver, and after I brought it home I spiced it up a bit and it sold!  I think it was 30 x 40.
