Colors of Sky
Oil on Canvas SOLD by Laurie Pace
Colors of Sky, small 5 x 7 knife painting of a horse by Laurie Pace. This was done during a push to do 100 horses in 100 days. I sold them all one by one each day.
Psalm 103:17: But from everlasting to everlasting the
LORD’s love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children’s children—
I always stop and think whenever I see the words "FEAR THE LORD" ... why? I worship and respect and fall down on my knees for Him. I sin daily and know that HE knows I sin daily. In that way I know I am responsible for what I do and say. For an unbeliever who does not know God, there could easily be the fear of the judgement of God and eternal death... a permanent separation from God. For a believer, that fear is a reverence of our Lord God. Hebrews 12: 28-29 where it gives a view of 'fearing God'. "Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our 'God is a consuming fire.'" That makes one actually envision with reverence and awe the full power and majesty of our Father in Heaven.
I truly recommend BibleRef.com when you want to have things interpreted. They look at each version and translation. Here is the link to Hebrews 12: 18 and a summary below in the photo below Hebrews 12: 18-29. https://www.bibleref.com/hebrews/12/hebrews-12-28.html
Cannot believe this is Thursday... 3 pm and I still have four or five hours of work ahead! .... Elle
