Pear Painting... I went through a Pear period from about 2004 until 2008ish. Palette Knife Pear Paintings.  I did complete quite a few dining room size paintings for commissions that were 48 up to 60 width across and 36-60 inches in height. This is one of my small paintings.  I hope you enjoy the colors for spring... and especially today, on Easter Sunday. 

Matthew 28:5-8 The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.” So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples."

Wishing you and your family the blessings of the Lord as we remember the great gift God provided to man, His son Jesus Christ. He suffered and died on the cross and was laid to rest in a tomb. On the third day He rose from the dead and ascended into Heaven, where he sits on the right hand of God our Father. May your weeks ahead be blessed with the love and grace of this great gift. 

Only Through Him Will We Have Peace.

Arrival...Refrigerator?

Praying for everyone affected by the last two hurricanes.  My adventures today were the result of a dead refrigerator. I have loved my Kitchen Aid refrigerator very much. The first one in the 'French Kitchen' look died at 13 months. Hubby wanted the same refrigerator. Well this one made it four years and a few months. I cannot believe appliances are not made to last longer...but wait, is that because they make more money if we have to replace it in 4-5 years?  You replace your mattress at least every 7 years... and your washer dryer, you might get 7 years out of those... The stoves seem to make it closer to 10 years. We are Lowe's customers, and Robert ...
