I have spoken with Steve, the gallery owner and each week I will post an available painting at his gallery in Denver that will be specially priced through contacting him and mentioning you saw it on my blog.  This is a stunning palette knife painting with thick layers of straight buttery Holbein Duo Oils...no impasto, only oil paint.
The varnish brings out dimension with the edges of the knife pulls and the subtle palette compliments almost any decor.

Family, Beauty, Gifts and more...

Sunday growing up was always a day of church and family. 
Sunday always meant a special meal as well that we all gathered around to share.




Sunday was a day to count blessings and give thanks for the week and all the joys and sorrows.


And by evening thoughts turn to the new week ahead and preparing for the journey.


Sunday evenings are a great time to sort out all of the problems and issues of the past week.  Write them down and cross them off your list.  As you do say a prayer releasing them to God.

Stacey began her labor around nine in the morning and was ready to push by 12:15, but they held her off while getting things set up. Took four good contractions with multiple pushes and the baby was there! All grandparents accounted for to count the toes and fingers! My admiration is for my daughter and her bravery and calmness despite the tension and newness of what she faced. I was honored to be there as the baby was delivered seeing my granddaughter push out into the light and take her first breathe... and then cry... and that she did.
