Monday begins with daylight already through the studio windows. I am packing paintings this morning and Terry and I will meet Mom and my brother and sister-in-law for lunch. I think it is fish day.

When I was asked to be a part of Earth Works Art Gallery in Penn Yan New York, I was totally blown away by the generosity of the owner, Billie Bauman. She built this gallery with a purpose to touch lives along the way. She was generous with her split with the artist and of her portion she donated 10-15% to the charity of the artist's choice. In the end the Gallery only gained about 25% to pay bills and cover salaries. The Gallery often has a tight budget, but the work it does multiplies out into the world through her continued generosity.

Did you ever consider that you can succeed best and quickest by helping others to succeed? That thought has been around a long time and the proof has been there since the beginning of time.

Lift up those around you, support the greater good and that is when God steps in and takes care of you. As you give credit where credit is due and celebrate the success of others, the energy comes right back to you and the light fills your life.

My dad always said, "what goes around comes around, watch what seeds you plant in your life." All of this still to me reverts back to that wonderful golden rule, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."

So today I challenge you to celebrate those around you and what they do and have to offer to the world.

Thank you Earth Works. Can you see now why she named it that? EARTH WORKS.

Joy and Abundance.
Laurie

Sunlit Bowl

© Laurie Pace        Graphics One Design 2025 Sunlit Bowl Oil on Canvas  SOLD   by Laurie Pace   A Painting of soft pink and white flowers   created in 2013 brings back memories of living at Lake Cypress Springs. I loved it there. It did not love me!  Mold was my downfall.  I was prolific at painting there with my studio looking over the waters of a large catfish pond and Lake Cypress Springs. The mold pushed us back to DRY Dallas.  God guides our path today.  Memories are flooding in with the morning sun.  Proverbs 4:18    “ The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day.”  Today will be over 100 degrees but by Saturday the high is 79. Weather is the main talk these days. Remember I am in Texas.   We heard they may get snow in the Ohio River Valley. We are to see storms from the Pacific Hurricane coming our directio...
A Bit of Wonder Contemporary Horse Oil Daily Painting Art by Laurie Justus Pace 24 x 30 x 2 inches of thick buttery oils! Contact me to purchase: Laurie "This is the day that the Lord has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it". Psalm 118:24 It was a day of celebration yesterday as Lauren Gracen was born. Stacey began her labor around nine in the morning and was ready to push by 12:15, but they held her off while getting things set up. Took four good contractions with multiple pushes and the baby was there! All grandparents accounted for to count the toes and fingers! My admiration is for my daughter and her bravery and calmness despite the tension and newness of what she faced. I was honored to be there as the baby was delivered seeing my granddaughter push out into the light and take her first breathe... and then cry... and that she did. Terry was able to participate and he and Larry helped with pushing and getting Stacey upright for the process and then Terry was hon...
