We had some down news last night that one of our trees in the back yard is diseased and we may lose it and the other two large Red Oaks as well.  Might as well blow up the back yard loosing the three huge trees that shade the house.  He looked up at me and said, "Go wash your face using hot water".  I am looking at him funny. It is 10 a.m.  and I cannot imagine how my face was dirty since I have only been up three hours and have not be

Since then I have limited them to about 10 of these large paintings and this is the last one I will paint.  It is entitled ALL TOGETHER and it is the last in this series.  The size is 60 x 90 inches. My own granddaughter was a tiny baby at this time.  This princess lived in a nearby town in a castle with her family. Notice her ONE SINGLE RED ROSE.  I treasure fun small paintings like this.  I hope to embark on new color in the studio in the next month. The older you become, the more you realize it is the small special things in life that stick with you in your memories.  When you are in prayer with the Lord, remember he places multitudes of small simple things in your life all throughout your days.  What have you found or noticed? He is working on building better ventilation next and painting is happening.  I am currently in the midst of a commission of three panels on birch.  Hubby aka Terry, is helping with the sanding today of the clear gesso on the panels. I am preparing to clean out the room of anything unneeded or not used.  There is a lot here!   My next dream is to hang Christmas lights. I LOVE them year round in my studio... always makes me smile. SCOTT FITZGERALD Terry and I sat down to figure out we have been sheltering at home since the second of March. Forty-four days?  It truly seems longer to me. That is longer than Noah and the Flood!!!  From rain and more rain, building 1000 piece puzzles, playing other games, doing small repairs in the house here and there, we have survived those 44 days.
