Cubby Holes of Love . Longhorn Silver Haze  A friend called wanting something special in his cubby for art... a special built in part of his wall for art, already with a light but needing a painting. He sent me pictures of his rugs, walls, pillows and I set to work. He did not want specific colors included and at first I felt limited but as I worked I began to see a true personality come alive in this painting.   God calls each of us for a certain 'cubby' spot in this world. His light is shining on it waiting for e

New Art Show opening at Dutch Art in Dallas . Wolf Painting  Later this month I am excited about returning to the Lake Highlands area of Dallas for an art show with three other women.  It is the Colors of Lake Highlands.  While I wish there had been more lead in time to create new paintings, I do have six or seven debuting in the show. The Wolves will be there along with flowers and horses and even a bowl of fruit.  I will be there too. More details will be later in the month on time of the reception and opening. Every morning we are g

So me hills offer something pretty neat on the other side. What hill are you climbing right now? I really sat and thought about this blog before I began it. In the past week: I lost a favorite Aunt, my dad's sister.   I heard from some dear friends the dad has colon cancer. One of my older art friends has a wife on the verge of sliding further up the other side of her hill into God's arms, also with cancer.  Lady M, our newest granddaughter will be Baptised in a few weeks to celeb

Darn, how did we let that candy get away? What a waste. Remembering racing around trying to fill your basket with more eggs than anyone else? What is in your basket this year?  Chocolate eggs? Jelly Beans? Chocolate Bunnies? Marshmallow Rabbits?  We all sigh thinking of our favorites.  I still

Well the healing codes puts these two together. Our life experiences happen. The Storms are different for each of us. The heart results of those can be devastating and hurtful to ourselves and ou

Horse Paintings by Laurie Pace Sometimes things happen out of the blue.  Even the smallest incident or happening has a domino effect in our lives.  Well, it could be good or it could be bad. Since there is never any warning for those things 'out of the blue'... I think it is so important to live by faith and not by sight.  Recently this past month, I have seen a glimmer of something new in my life.  It is nothing I can visibly see, but it is something I feel from my heart th
