In Progress  This is about 8 hours in and still not sure of direction but I am loving the palette colors chosen for this horse painting. I began with the orange paint, then the soft turquoise, then the blues... after that came quinacridone golds, purples, lavender and brown pink. Four feet in height and almost three feet wide.  I went through 22 tubes of paint so that tells you how thick the pulls are. This horse painting has a strong presence but it is NOT finished. It may sit for a few weeks until the message is clear to me.  Right now I chose to entitle it Not Black or White. I can envision this more raw than illustrative, which it is now... so we will all have to wait and see.
