Our dogs are such loves. This is one of our grand dogs as a puppy. He was totally trusting in anything we offered him.  Terry had a bag of dog treats and his little nose fit right in!   We fit right into the care and love of the Father... jump in and get acquainted with Him again. With the heat outside reaching in the hundreds again this year, Terry and I have made a commitment to keep the bird feeder full and water available. The humming bird feeders are full too.  We are part of God's world and we must care for all around us. Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may have her young— a place near your altar,  Lord Almighty, my King and my God. Our neediness seems primary in our lives. I am trying to focus on the joy of painting instead of the heat of summer, so now is the perfect time to collect a Pace Palette Knife Pony. This pony is one of thickest painted oils yet this summer. The first layer in areas is close to 1/4 inch thick and then has additional layers on top of that. The horse is carved into the paint and then topped with additional color layers. In our lifetime we seek to find many things from happiness, to completeness, to success and on.  The truth lies in seeking HIM and only then will you find the contentment you are searching for.
