She and her husband Tony are celebrating their fiftieth wedding anniversary and this past weekend was filled with the complete joy of family and friends honoring this time in their lives. Jo lives in my neighborhood here at the lake.  Her home, yard and life embrace their happiness and joy in life. They both celebrate the gifts provided and Jo shares some of that with our church choir. Like all of us, they have faced many challenges in li

We are each blessed with gifts for our journey. Sometimes these gifts change and we may not be prepared to accept new ones or say goodbye to old ones.   You are the artisan of your life. There were over 40 entries for this small painting but so many awesome emails that came with each entry. Sheriff Paul was running from one event to the other so I had to have him choose a number between 1 and 40 and the list of how the entries arrived were on my excel sheet. He choose the number 12 and the 12th person to write me was one that brought so much joy to me this week, Amber Marie Jones.  I had heard from her earlier in the month as she was doing a school project on artists and had chosen my work. (BTW, she is from the UK) I will be se
