Yesterday Terry called to me to hurry up as we needed to walk down the street to see what all the noise was.  I hurried to the coat closet for my mid weight jacket and my long knit scarf Kimberly Conrad made me two years ago... Kimberly I still love it... and headed out the door to catch up with him.  We walked south up our street which is a hill and saw quite a few trucks gathered at the top on our little one car only road.  There were

I think not, but we settled on a music piece, which is sad because the horses definitely demand more attention.  So tomorrow I will post the image of the painting I will finish up this morning. Yesterday was prep work on the canvas with the glazes layers of music

You are in His presence 24/7, but is He in your presence? Stop holding your breath and exhale.  Think back over the past year and all the highly emotional moments, some filled with fear an

Even using your IPhone for traffic maps showing accidents etc, things can change in a blink of a second.   In life I believe we all have plans and goals. They begin indoctrinating you at a young age to plan ahead, or make a list of goals, or a to do list.  What should be on that list?  I am not sure as everyone's is different.  The list I am interested in is not filled with goals and plans but it is a list of simple affirmations that you can recite every day.  God's pl

I had never found or read the entire poem.  It truly is something to take to heart this first Sunday in the new year 2011. The will of God will never take you, Where the grace of God cannot keep you, Where the arms of God cannot support you Where the riches of God cannot supply your needs, Where the power of God cannot endow you. The will of God will never take you, Where the Spirit of God cannot work through you, Where the wisdom of God cannot teach you, Where the army of God cannot protect you, Where the hands of God cannot mold you. Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” - Isaiah 43:16, 18-19

Not too much for decompressing in that congested place!   Have also considered a special place here in Mt Vernon called Selah Ranch amd a second loca

I found this a Lowe's and I love it.  I was able to retire my wire basket holder from the container store and my big four drawer plastic holder from Target .  EVERYTHING fit in here.    We had thick Plexi-glass cut to fit the top. I have part of it long and part of it square. I use the smaller piece to mix my paints on and it is washable.  The box also has electrical outlets so I have set it up with my ipod charger and player on it... and actually painted yesterday.  Just a start in preparation for the big painting.  I have not painted in a week and I have to g

Take a deep breath today and remind yourself you are full of the spirit.  You are blessed with His love and then let Him know how grateful you are for the things you do have right now.  You have exactly what you are suppose to have...enjoy it.
