" I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire " Matthew 3:11    This original painting is one of two that I personally have kept in my collection. This is what creates the personality of my paintings. It weaves together the layers of paint applied with a palette knife, piling drag after drag criss crossing the painting creating planes of color and depth.    If you would love one of your own, lets do it.  Tell me the colors that ring your heart alive, and the subject...horses, flowers, what do you love the most?"   Contact me. How do you spend your days? Are you IN THE WILD?  It is time to have some fun and forget about all the news and noise around us. Makes me want to sing, to dance, to play music and sing some more!  Unfortunately, my house needs to be cleaned tomorrow. I can sing while I clean!  Been 10 days and we have been on the road back and forth to Dallas taking care of family things.  I am unpacking

When we can talk about our feelings, they become less overwhelming, less upsetting, and less scary. The people we trust with that important talk can help us know that we are not alone.” ― Fred Rogers Painting Strength and Power fill this painting. I believe the voices crying in the wilderness, prophesying with their lives about the Kingdom of God. ...  I believe that peace begins with forgiveness and conversation and reconciliation, oh, I believe in miracles, I'm so ridiculous. I believe that small acts of peace are still acts of peace." Sarah Bessey  SarahBessey.com Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me...and you. This is one I worked on yesterday. I think it is done. I like the play on colors and the subtle changes of light. Hence the title FINDING PEACE . First I would suggest we examine the definition of peace. Webster tells me it is a state of tranquility or quiet; freedom from civil disturbance; freedom from disquieting or oppressive thoughts or emotions; a harmony in personal relationships.
