If there is one layer there are 14 or more layers of paint and pulls. This was done over a three day period. The first layer again was acrylic and then the next ones were pulls of thick buttery oils....colors overlaid and blending. I first was pulling the landscape of the Snake river from Photos from our Wyoming Trip. But then I saw the horse with in.... Do you see it? It is the spirit of the Snake River...think of how many horses have cross that river over all the many years it has been in existence. Saw a billboard last night on the way to pick up an OLD FASHIONED HAMBURGER about six last night. "FAILURE IS NOT FALLING DOWN, FAILURE IS FALLING DOWN AND NOT GETTING UP."
