Intent 24 x 30 Mixed Media  Sold.

“Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!”  Hunter S Thompson THE PROUD HIGHWAY

Oh my... took my breath away seeing this in the archives.  This was a pure painting of joy and discovery. Often Discovery is not joyful in the process but very joyful upon arrival.

This was how it began.  There was glazing and collaging and lots of acrylic paint.  Following that there was a horse laid in with oils. This looking back is raising my interest at the easel! I think I have a canvas already in this state... hmmm.

"Better a dry crust with peace and quiet than a house full of feasting, with strife." Proverbs 17:1
