"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?' Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others. ~" Marianne Williamson

This was the quote that set my brain in motion a few nights ago.  I was truly trying to grasp how to SHINE with humility. Not to shrink to the back but to glow with God. I want to be liberated from all those fears of inadequacy.  I would love to know what you think about this quote. Please leave a comment.

This painting was completed also in May 2010 like the last larger horse painting. It was a large piece and this one was a small piece as you can see by the sharp detail of a soft brush in the grass.

"Now Joshua son of Nun was filled with the spirit of wisdom because Moses had laid his hands on him. So the Israelites listened to him and did what the LORD had commanded Moses. " Deuteronomy 34:9
