“Do not abandon yourselves to despair. We are the Easter people and hallelujah is our song.” ― Pope John Paul II
"Easter means that this life on earth is not all there is. Jesus went "to prepare a place for us" in His Father’s heavenly mansions for all eternity. Jesus died for our sins, paying our penalty, so that we could be forgiven. He was resurrected, to prove that death has no hold on those who repent and accept Him as Savior. This life on earth is a prelude to eternal joy with our Lord. Easter is a celebration of our eternal destiny. Joanna Fuchs
I am with family this day singing the Hallelujah.
"It was now about noon, and darkness came over the whole land until three in the afternoon, for the sun stopped shining. And the curtain of the temple was torn in two. Jesus called out with a loud voice, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.” When he had said this, he breathed his last. The centurion, seeing what had happened, praised God and said, “Surely this was a righteous man.” Luke 23:44-47
