In Her Father's Arms

 Size: 8 x 8  Oil on Canvas.

“My child, the troubles and temptations of your life are beginning, and may be many; but you can overcome and outlive them all if you learn to feel the strength and tenderness of your Heavenly Father as you do that of your earthly one. The more you love and trust Him, the nearer you will feel to Him, and the less you will depend on human power and wisdom. His love and care never tire or change, can never be taken from you, but may become the source of lifelong peace, happiness, and strength. Believe this heartily, and go to God with all your little cares, and hopes, and sins, and sorrows, as freely and confidingly as you come to your mother.” ― Louisa May Alcott, Little Women
Trust.     Trust.    Trust.
Trust.... it is hard to really stop and let go and trust someone. We must trust that ALL things are possible with God.  You have to trust and surrender to be part of His plan.  He has plans for you and for me. But first we must trust.  Have you ever read Zachariah's story in Luke?  You should. You will find it in Luke 1.  It is in this scripture we see how "unable to speak" we each become when we do not believe God's promises to us. You are safe in the Father's Arms.
"And he will go on before the Lord, in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the parents to their children and the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous—to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.” Luke 1:17
