“The father’s job is to teach his children how to be warriors, to give them the confidence to get on the horse to ride into battle when it’s necessary to do so. If you don’t get that from your father, you have to teach yourself.” ― Cheryl Strayed, Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail
Yeehaw... nothing more stressful than thinking about 'battle'...but you do it every day. Constant stress when you are away from family and friends not there to support you. Worry about them when you are not there to support them. We seem to create a world around us that we struggle and battle in to survive. We are missing the whole abundant life God has created for each of us. These are our choices. Our way or His way?
Know that I pray for you today even though we may have never met. Imagine me holding your hand and sharing this small connection with you. We are sustained by our faith and know God holds each of us close and carries us through the battles to the other side. I pray your heart is filled with peace. I pray your soul is filled with comfort. I pray your life is filled with abundance.
No battle is needed.
"Then you will walk on your way securely and your foot will not stumble. If you site down. you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet." Proverbs 3:23-24
