I thought I was getting up early this morning and would start proofing the 90 page book for the ArtistsofTexas.org Second Annual Art Show.  BUT, as I pulled open this blog to blog I faced a new picture load that didn't make me smile and took forever to get to work correctly.  If things are not broke do not fix them. Not sure why BLOG had to do this.

I imagine that might be one of God's favorite mantras.   Here on earth we are all little 'tinkers'.  We 'tinker' with this and we 'tinker' with that and we end up deeper in the 'tink' pile with very complicated lives.

With the passing of Terry's Dad, so much has surfaced in our lives with memories and photos and books....I am hoping Terry is inspired to let go of so much of his stuff he does not use after seeing what we had to sort through of his father's earthly belongings.

We are created to go through different journeys in life and different stages in life.  We begin as tiny babies and in a very short time of 15 years we grow into full size humans.  Start where you are now and look back 15 years ago... did you grow over this period?  Our growth after those first 15 years is more than physical. We must be accepting of new chapters in our life and spend time learning to appreciate where we are in life and not trying to go backwards to be younger or thinner or to capture the youth of yesterday.

To every season there is a purpose.  Take stock today of your 'season' in your life. At age 15 you did not want to go back and be age 8... so why now at your age are you trying to turn the clock back? You are missing the beauty of the age you are today.

Ecclesiastes 3: 1-8

1 There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under heaven:  2 a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
3 a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
4 a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
5 a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain,
6 a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
7 a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
8 a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.

Wise words. As humans, we tend to forget. Death always reminds us. I am sorry for your family's loss.
